I stumbled across this announcement on Hoopla last night:
"This title is part of the hoopla BONUS BORROWS COLLECTION! For a limited time, this is one of 1000+ titles you can borrow without using any of your monthly hoopla borrows!"
That got me all excited, so I began to do little more investigating, and sure enough, there are TONS of fantastic titles available for all ages.
This is so awesome because you can get "free borrows." Some libraries only offer 3 or 5 book checkouts per month, which can sometimes feel frustrating when you go through books quickly, but this will allow you to check out above and beyond your normal limit! Woohoo!
Here are some {mostly} audiobook titles that caught my eye in order from adult books down to toddlers.

FOR ADULTS
Gary Chapman Books
I enjoy books by Gary Chapman. He is very practical and straight forward when it comes to ideas for the family. Here are several titles that are available in this "Bonus Borrows" offer.
The 5 Love Languages of Children: I'm excited about this one because I love this book and have referenced it both here and on my Instagram page. This is fantastic in learning how to understand, relate to, and love the different "personalities" of your children.
The Five Love Languages Singles Edition
The 5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace
The 5 Love Languages for Men
The Marriage You've Always Wanted
Things I wish I'd Known Before We Got Married
Loving Your Spouse When You Feel Like Walking Away
Anger: Handling a Powerful Emotion in a Healthy Way
Sally Clarkson Books
These books are NOT audiobooks, but they are available as e-books for the "Bonus Borrows." They are worth mentioning here because her books are always so full of encouragement and I always come away from them with some great nuggets of wisdom.
The Life-Giving Table
The Life-Giving Parent
Girls' Club
Health Books
Intuitive Eating by Evelyn Tribole
Intermittent Fasting by Timothy Moore
Eat Fat Get Thin by Mark Hyman
Other Parenting Books
Hands free Mama by Rachel Stafford: It's been awhile since I read this, but it was really good. It's about getting rid of distractions and focusing on what really matters.
Raising Grateful Kids in an Entitled World by Kristen Welch: NOT AN AUDIOBOOK, but this one has been on my list to read for a long time.
Bringing Up Boys by Dr. James Dobson
The Very Best Hands-On Kinda Dangerous Family Devotions by Tim Shoemaker: NOT AN AUDIOBOOK, but this one piqued my interest. I haven't read it before, but I am going to check it out. This is a book of fun object lessons for family devotions.
Other Single Titles
You Can Trust God to Write Your Story by Nancy Demoss Wogemuth
The 30-Minute Millionaire: the smart way to achieving financial freedom by Peter Tanous
Agatha Christie Titles
If you are a fan of Agatha Christie books, there are a WHOLE SLEW of them available as part of the "Bonus Borrows." Here are some titles included:
The Double Clue
The Mystery of Hunter's Lodge
The Adventure of the Egyptian Tomb
The King of Clubs
The Lemesurier Inheritance
The Murder of Roger Ackroyd

FOR CHILDREN {and all ages}
I always have a hard time putting ages to book titles because, to be honest, I love these children's books just as much as my daughter. On certain ones, I won't let her listen to them without me because I enjoy them right along with her! So here are some titles I found that are children's books, but would be enjoyable for everyone.
Mary Poppins Series by P. L. Travers
Mary Poppins
Mary Poppins and the House Next Door
Mary Poppins in Cherry Tree Lane
Classic Starts Series
I noticed several titles available in this series. I don't think I got them all, but here are several titles that are included to get you started:
The Secret Garden
The Swiss Family Robinson
Peter Pan
Anne of Green Gables
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Alice in Wonderland
Treasure Island
A Little Princess
Oliver Twist
Boxcar Children Series by Gertrude Chandler Warner
There are A TON of titles from the Boxcar Children available as well. Here are a few several I spotted:
The Boxcar Children
Surprise Island
Yellow House Mystery
Blue Bay Mystery
Caboose Mystery
Bicycle Mystery
Mystery in the Sand
Benny Uncovers a Mystery
The Power Down Mystery
The Mystery at the Alamo
The Mystery Horse
The Spy in the Bleachers
The Clue in the Recycling Bin
The Green Ember Series by S.D. Smith
We are enjoying these so much right now! They are so good, and Joel Clarkson does a fantastic job narrating these. There are two titles available as part of the "Bonus Borrows" right now:
Ember Falls (book 2)
The Last Archer (a Green Ember Story).
Tales of Old Natalia Series by S.D. Smith
Another series by the same author as the Green Ember Series. Here are the books available for "free borrows."
The Black Star of Kingston
The Wreck & Rise of Whitson Mariner
I Survived Series
Again, this is another new series to me, but from the research, it looks like this series may be another winner. Commonsense media says, "Parents need to know that the 'I Survived' series is captivating, emotional, and historically accurate. The kids in these stories face scary situations in their first-person accounts of the disasters; they're often alone, hurt, and in an unfamiliar place. But because almost everyone around them is trying to help the kids survive or find their parent, once the worst is over, the overall feeling from the books is optimistic. The end of each story of survival gives a glimpse into the post-disaster life of the family and ends with an upbeat note."
Here are some titles that are part of the "Bonus Borrows" books:
I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic
I Survived the Shark Attacks of 1916
I Survived Hurricane Katrina
I Survived the Japanese Tsunami
I Survived the Children's Blizzard
I Survived the Attack of the Grizzlies
I Survived the Battle of D-Day
There are 19 'I Survived' audiobook titles on Hoopla! And this is definitely a series I am going to keep in mind as E gets older.
Single Titles
The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan
Secrets of the Castleton Manor Library: I have not personally read these, but from the reviews I read on the Good Reads app, they look pretty clean. You can borrow the first book in this series as part of the "Bonus Borrows," but they do have several titles available to borrow if you are interested in this series.

How to Find "Bonus Borrows" Titles on Hoopla
There are two ways to find more Bonus Borrows titles.
First, all you need to do is open up your Hoopla App, click the search icon in the bottom right hand corner of the interface, and type in "bonus borrows." All of the books will pop up.
OR
You can find a title that is on the Bonus Borrows list (all of the above), and scroll down down past the book description, to the details where you see all of the information about the author, narrator, etc. When you get to the section that says "Similar Titles," there will be some blue text that says, "more bonus borrow." All you need to do is click on that, and it will take you straight to all of the titles that are available!
